Alors 5* veut dire que tout doit être parfait. Eh bien tout ne l’était pas. - pas de service piscine ou vraiment très peu présent après que beaucoup de clients ont râlé parce que pas de serviettes et rien de débarrassé quand plus personne sur les beds. - piscine pas très propre - nous y avons passé 3 nuits et le troisième soir nous n’avons pas eu de service de chambre (donc plus de serviettes, plus de mouchoirs) - en revanche nous avons dîné au restaurant 3* et c’était extraordinaire - les chambres sont sympas et la literie confortable - le petit-déjeuner est super - le personnel est sympa et agréable - les frites du San Felice sont surgelées - et aujourd’hui temps un peu couvert ça devait être grand nettoyage car la piscine pas accessible et tous les beds recouverts de leur housse

Un relais château au prix d’un palace

L’hôtel est bien, mais c’est certainement l’expérience relais château la plus surprenante. Les prix pratiqués sont ceux des palaces type « la messardiere, la réserve, ou éden roc », le service en revanche n’est pas à la hauteur. Vous demandez la carte à la piscine, on vous précise qu’il n’y a que 4 plats (la carte semblait loin), on vous les dicte alors sans vous donner les prix. La surprise arrive : 38€ une tomate burrata, 43€ un burger ou encore 48€ un poke bowl au poisson, pour avoir cela servit dans des boites en cartons avec des couverts en bois et des serviettes en papiers est assez honteux. Les prix et les boites en cartons ont été découverts en même temps. Mais passons. Demander au concierge un restaurant avec vue ouvert le dimanche soir et en insistant bien sur le fait que cela soit ouvert, puis aller au restaurant pour avoir porte close n’avait jamais été vecu. Demander des œufs benedictes, et attendre 35 min après 3 incompréhensions de la part de la responsable sans savoir que c’était en supplément et qu’aucune carte ne stipulait les prix ce matin là était aussi surprenant. Nos attentes et nos demandes ne sont pas anticipées, la recherche de l’excellence doit être uniquement dans le restaurant étoilé, seul endroit que nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion d’essayer. Les chambres en rez de chaussées sont particulièrement sombres, c’est un autre détail.

Disappointing yet could be easily improved

Extra charge for over 2 people even if you made reservation for more, they charge you at check out. No hotel taxi car available, difficult to go anywhere without vehicle based on location. Staff friendly but chaos for managing anything. Concierge starts at noon, anything before good luck

Un hotel si reposant qu’on ne veut plus le quitter

Un séjour exceptionnel dans un hotel surplombant la provence et une vue panoramique qui nous mène jusqu’à la Méditerranée. Notre chambre disposait d’un balcon profond accompagné de deux chaises longues et d’une table. Mention spéciale pour la literie. Je vous conseille le repas du soir sur votre balcon si celui ci vous le permet. Un grand merci pour l’accueil et les attentions du personnel et notamment de Alexis; qui ne manquera pas de vous donner toutes les informations nécessaires pour rendre votre voyage parfait!

Stunningly beautiful hotel and grounds. We had a lovely stay here. However, like all 5 stars nothing come cheap, including breakfast. The 3 star Christophe Bacquié restaurant was fabulous and the simpler San Felice was very good food-wise but the service was a little bit inattentive. A word of warning - the hotel is 12 km from Le Castellet, so if you were expecting a leisurely stroll into the village you’ll be disappointed. It also means if you want to eat out, the driver can’t drink (much). Taxis not available.

Séjour de 2 nuits en amoureux. Nous avons pu profiter de quasiment toutes les installations présentes. Restaurant gastronomique Christophe Bacquie: Tout simplement parfait tant pour la qualité et la gentillesse du personnel qui s'adapte à chacun et sait être sérieux sans se prendre au sérieux. Que par la cuisine proposée qui est tout simplement parfaite (Aioli moderne à ne surtout pas manquer...) et le chef prend la peine de parler à chaque convive avec une humilité et une gentillesse dont beaucoup d'autres chefs étoilés devraient s'inspirer. Le spa est tout simplement magnifique et les massages sont un moment magique hors du temps. On ressent à chaque instant que le but de chaque membre du personnel est de faire de notre séjour un moment inoubliable et cela est vraiment réussi. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement dont les valeurs d'humilité et bienveillance viennent en complément d'un cadre ,d'installations et d'une cuisine juste magiques. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir...

Fantastic family weekend getaway

Fantastic hotel and amazing restaurant. All of the staff was very friendly and the setting amazing. The two internal pools made it ideal when the weather wasn’t as warm. The spa is also great.
