"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"This was truly a home away from home experience. The property itself is so tastefully renovated and has a true French country feeling. The owner and her family are so warm and friendly. They offered great suggestions for exploring the surrounding areas along with great places to dine in the evening. Every morning breakfast was presented in a true French style. I loved staying at this property. "

"An amazing place to stay, wonderful setting and experience staying in an ancient castle. With a great host who was welcoming, serving great breakfast, providing good recommandation for diner. Note, we had an electric car and the owner was very accommodating and help us to charge the car every day."

"Peaceful, historical and rustic property with welcoming service. In early January, only 1 restaurant was open. We walked Le Voie Vert to Lamalou les Bains for lunch. It was about a 40 minute stroll. Uber doesn't work. We used a taxi service to get to and from Béziers. "

Picturesque house in 17th century village, with privacy, pool and views

Charming and Peaceful

"We really enjoyed our stay. Eglantine's property is a perfect quiet retreat to enjoy southern France. We spent almost all of our time sitting outside beneath the grape vines enjoying the beautiful view towards Gabian. The property has everything you'd need from a short stay to a longer holiday and the pool is wonderful on the hot days. My partner and I have stayed in a lot of holiday lets around europe and both agreed this was by far the best yet. The village of Roquessels is an amazing location with tons of small towns close by, plenty of easily accessible walking spots and the coast not far away. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to explore the south of France; we'll definitely consider returning ourselves. "

Fantastic Stay in Laurens

"Just back from a fabulous stay in Laurens! The property is absolutely beautiful - the photos dont do it justice, so much space and every single thing you could possibly need is there. All of the various outside spaces were well used, the pool was excellent, and having the steps into the pool was great for the smaller children who weren't very confident swimming. All of the rooms are well air conditioned and ive never stayed in a place with such a well equipped kitchen! The village is lovely - a couple of little bakeries nearby, along with a butcher, little convenience store, tobacco shop, and pharmacy (which was great for the various mosquito repellent/bite creams we needed!). The place is well situated for exploring the south of France - around an hour away from Montpellier, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Millau, with lots of little towns and markets to explore nearby. We had a few questions for the owners while we were away and communication couldnt have been easier or quicker - would love to come back and stay here again!"
