"Wonderful welcome to this hotel with a very charming and helpful receptionist. Good position so walkable to town and out to the wilder areas. Rooms basic but fine. Breakfast basic but fine and again lovely service"
"Rural France at its laid back finest. A family home that shouts history with old furniture and modern convenience. Rooms that look out acres of fields."
"This is a Beautiful hotel with access to the beach. It exudes calm and serenity coupled with a sense of joie de vivre. The sea air is a constant reminder that the Atlantic is never far away."

"This is fantastic hotel that allows you to plug in to the joy of La Rochelle, both in its great location and in the hotel style. I loved staying here in my room with a view of Vieux Port. "
"Brilliant hotel right in the middle of things. Stayed for one night, family of 4 in one room and there was plenty of room and beds were comfortable. Loved it. "
"A short walk into the centre. Lots of restaurants nearby and a little local supermarket. Parking on site was a bonus. Simple and basic but if all youâre doing is sleeping then you donât need extra. Would stay again. Good value. "
"The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price. Nice, central location , but a little removed from the noisiness of the bustling downtown area, which was a plus. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. When I needed anything or had questions, thatâs who I would ask because front desk staff (all three that were there during our stay) were not very helpful or friendly, bordering on downright rude. "
"Our room was 004.
Reception did not speak English and made no attempt to understand anything.
One of the doors to the car park could not be locked as it had been forced and part of the frame was missing, this meant anyone could enter the passages to rooms.
Room 004: window restraint was missing so we could not open window safely. The shower head was broken, could not raised, the soap dispenser in the shower was loose. The wc seat was broken. The soap dispenser by the sink was on the floor having been pulled off the wall- hence NO soap by the sink. Bulb missing over the sink making it difficult with limited light.
I have already contacted Hotels.com auto talk and told this will be looked at.
The pool was very nice
I have stayed at the Hotel some years ago but will not be staying again. The whole hotel needed a refresh, including the very poor buffet breakfast. Nothing could compare with a B&B Hotel!!!!"
