Charming, peaceful chalet in the 3-star village of Argentière

10/10 Excellent

"What a fabulous little chalet, we spent 10 days here and it wasn’t enough.If anything, I would say the photos don’t do it enough justice - it’s fitted out to a lovely standard and very comfortable. And the views of Mont Blanc!! Just incredible!The location is perfect, Argentière is a lovely village and the train into Chamonix and the rest of the valley is just a 5 minute walk from the house. We used the house as a base for hiking and it was ideal.Communication with the host was great (and his recommendation of his family’s favourite restaurant was spot on!).It’s a perfect size for a couple or a small family. We will definitely be back!"

"Beautifully designed, very well located and well maintained. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room we got had just a single small window which felt a bit weird. No closets was also a bit weird. The Roman bath is amazing, though I do think a sayna/jacuzzi would upgrade the experience. Amazing breakfast!"

"Nous avons beaucoup aimé ce chalet, qui donne l'impression d'être chez des amis ! Le gros plus a été la terrasse agréable avec une vue dégagée. Énormément de balades à faire de toutes longueurs et de toutes difficultés. Village calme."

"The apartment was a little small and creaky, and had very little storage space, only one bedroom had a wardrobe. The shower was great but again the room was very small. The building corridor smelt of cigarette smoke the whole time we were there.The location is fantastic but parking was difficult. The price was reasonable and we would consider booking again."
