"We loved this spacious and comfortable gite which has lots of character and felt genuinely like stepping into someone's lovely French home. It's got a large lovely garden, including chickens, as well as interesting planting, in a peaceful location. The house is unique and an excellent mix of old and new. It was our first visit to Brittany and we really enjoyed exploring the local area, including beaches, touristy towns, as well as quieter, more ordinary locations, plus Carnac. I took many photos...

"We were very warmly welcomed by our hosts who had a beautiful log fire going for us. The cottage is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nice and quiet and nothing is too far to visit. Even Brest is only an hour away. Would highly recommend"

"Le lieu est très agreable mais il aurait besoin d'un bon raffraichissement et d'un bon nettoyage. Les equipements sont datés et meriteraient un renouvellement (pas de micro onde/ pas de seche cheveux/ manque de materiel de cuisine (grande poele, casserole...). Et nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec me temps et n'avons pas profité de la piscine car elle n'etait pas chauffée. Dommage!"

"We found our stay to be mixed. First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks...

"Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, with a nice bottle of local cider and some biscuits to help us recover from the long journey. They also coped with my basic French! Information on the property and the surrounding area was clear and useful. Very close to Pontivy where there are hypermarkets, shops etc. Also next to the amazing cycle path on the river - great for walks and easy cycling. "Wir hatten das Ferienhaus für 2 Wochen gemietet. Sehr gepflegtes Hau sin typischem bretonischen Stil. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin Valérie hat uns alle Fragen beantwortet und war jederzeit für uns ansprechbar. Auch die Hausbesitzer, die im Nachbarhaus wohnen waren sehr net und hiflsbereit (z.B. haben wir nach einem weiträumigen Internetausfall dessen Reparatur länger dauerte direkt eine AirBox erhalten). Das grundstück ist sehr nett angelegt. garten und Pool können unkompliziert mitbenutzt werden....
