"We stayed the Alienor gite, just outside the lovely village of Lanquais near the Dordogne river. Our host Ann is really excellent host. The house is excellent - all the comforts of home, plenty of space, great welcome supplies, spotlessly cleane, nice and cool in the really hot recent weather and excellent value for money. The site up on the side of a wooded hill was really quiet and relaxing, had great views and lovely countryside or riverside walks. The large private garden and facilities...

So handy for the airport and places to explore although the property and pool are so fabulous, we didn’t explore as much as we thought we would. "Just returned from a very relaxing holiday in this lovely villa with swimming pool. There is so much to do for the children. They particularly loved the mini golf and zip wire. The fresh eggs from the chickens and fresh tomatoes were a massive bonus. I would definitely recommend for a family that wants to get away from it all. Bernard was so helpful and thorough in explaining how everything worked when we arrived. I really hope we can return sometime soon."

"Just returned from 10 days at this property. Quite easily the best accommodation we have stayed at in France. Frank is a fantastic host and very accommodating. Communication and check in was simple. The house and pool are absolutely impeccable. Designed and renovated to an extremely high standard. Everything was spotless on arrival and had everything you could possibly need. I really can’t recommend this highly enough. Hoping to return very soon."
