"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

"Enorme gastvrije en vriendelijke eigenaren. Een echt franse tussenstop onderweg. Het was er alleen erg warm en moeilijk koelte vinden. Er zijn wel ventilators, maar geen airco. Bedden zijn ook aan een update toe. "

"I had a great time staying with Virginie and Jennie at Sur le Chemin des Sens. Its the perfect place for relaxing and the food is outstanding. I don't think I've ever felt so 'at home' away from home and the commitment and passion to making every guest feel very welcome is obvious. I hope to return one day and hope Sur Le Chemin, is not completely booked up!"

"Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"

"Lovely room in an ideal location. Easy short walk to the town for dining options. Clean, comfortable room in a beautiful garden setting with a river at the end. Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. ONE WARNING - this property does not accept credit cards, however there is an ATM nearby."

"Chateau was beautifully decorated. Small elevator to bring our bags to first floor. Owner helped carry bags from entrance stairs to elevator. Robert and his wife were gracious and helpful."

Anne was a gracious and warm host that made us feel comfortable immediately and had suggestions what to do in the area. The food was outstanding. "Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Annabelle et Isabelle. Le cadre à l écart d un bourg permet une grande tranquillité. Le cadre est multiculturel avec des clients venant de plusieurs pays d Europe. Hollande, Allemagne notamment. Le séjour à été très agreable et les hôtes ont été de grands conseils et toujours disponibles. Seul bémol, l aspect visuel des chambres est un peu rustique avec des équipements un peu ancien. "Staffs were welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was very nice with delicious home made cake and jams. We got a tour in the property that have many animals and fish. The place was easy to find with Google Map and rooms were clean. It was an excellent place to stay for us from Hong Kong. "
