"We stayed for 9 days to relax, visit Paris and boulder in Fontainebleau forest. Gîte du Val D’auneau was the perfect base. Incredibly spacious, private and well appointed, we didn’t want for anything. Excellent pool area kept the kids happy for hours a the lovely covered outdoor dining area was a wonderful place to eat. Andréa and Philippe were the perfect hosts, they answered a questions promptly but allowed our privacy. Very highly recommended "

"We had a nice stay here for two weeks. The covered veranda was good for a dry storage of the pads as well as hanging out during rain. The nearby sport-area is good for the kids. There is a Shop in the village and lots of bouldering areas are easy accessable by bike."

"Lovely house, very comfortable and well equipped for a family for two weeks near to climbing areas. Fireplace with a good supply of firewood very welcome for chilly spring evenings. Very helpful and friendly host, tolerant of my limited french language skills! We would recommend and definitely stay again."

"Grande et tres belle maison, accueil très attentionné. Chambres ultra confortables (literie top) avec plusieurs salles de bain, très appréciable quand on est nombreux. Belle cheminée et, belle surprise, un magnifique sapin de Noël décoré nous attendait dans le salon. Séjour en famille très réussi ! Un grand merci au propriétaire pour les échanges avant le séjour et à Thierry pour son accueil sur place."

"Est ce normal d’être obligé de partager son logement avec d’autres locataires? Après notre réservation nous nous faisions une joie de se retrouver dans la forêt de Fontainebleau. Un séjour espéré et pensé depuis longtemps, où le programme était déjà tout tracé. Cependant, grosse déception à notre arrivée, étant donné que le logement était loué pour deux famille en même temps. Bug des sites internet selon la propriétaire, qui sachant cette erreur, n’a pas pris la peine de nous avertir. Nous nous...

"Lots of space for the family to explore and relax. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is a wonderful. The gardens are gorgeous! The VRBO app was unreliable but Victoria was accessible by phone. Her Gardner was very helpful and it was nice to have someone on site. The town is quaint with excellent restaurants. Great place for families with children."
