"Top locatie en heel fijn huis. Midden in dorp, bij water, fietsverhuur, bar/restaurant, maar toch rustig gelegen. Huis is voorzien van alle gemakken. Er zijn nog wat kleine puntjes die op de i mogen worden gezet, al gemeld aan de beheerder. Deze waren haar al bekend. Ongeving is prachtig om te fietsen, mountainbiken of wandelen. Het meer is leuk om te suppen of kanoen. Echt aan het strand liggen kun je niet geel leuk. Daar hadden ze wel wat leukerd van kunnen maken. Gelukkig loop je in 2 minuten...

"We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. St. Albans is filled with narrow streets that seem to have more traffic than you would expect in a small town. It was very dark when we arrived and Verizon's international plan offered no connectivity. I knew the address of the rental, and I had the key box code. It would not open the key box. I tried...

Das Haus war überwiegend sauber, die Heizung aber staubig und voller Spinnweben. Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war nicht nutzbar. In den Schränken der Küche waren mit überflüssiges Equipment (Tischdecken, Deko, Uralt-Raclette) vollgestopft. Das Bad war einfach. "Week-end en famille à 14 personnes. Une super maison, un endroit idéal au pied des balades dans un écrin de verdure. Les espaces sont fait pour qu'on ne se marche pas dessus, et en prime l'hôte qui se décarcasse pour le confort de tous et nous accueillir chaleureusement.Tout était parfait "

Le Chateau De Candie

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful Chateaux. Rooms and updated with beautiful decoration. We had a Junior Suite, which was quite large and had many windows. Very pleasant. The only down-side was the shower arrangement. No enclosed shower area, only a Tub on top of which the spray shower can be attached. As a result all of the water ended up on the floor! Also the faucets could use an update, as they sprayed in a jet like fashion causing the water to splash all over. There was no A/C, but fortunately during our stay in late July, the temperature was very pleasant, and there was no need for A/C. Bed was a little hard and uneven. (could use an update). Convenient free parking on the grounds available. Surrounding pastural areas and views were lovely. Breakfast was high quality and very good. "
