"We booked in Caen for several weeks prior to the Marathon de la Liberte. The location was an easy walk to the SNCF station, Les Rives de l'Orne shopping area and the Prairie. Nice walk to city center and points of interest. Easy access to public transit. Wonderful bakery just around the corner. Saturday morning market several blocks away.We made good use of the washing machine in the kitchen. The fridge does not have a freezer, but had sufficient room for perishables. Good Wi-Fi service....

"Unfortunately we had no hot water and it took 2 days to fix it which meant cold showers. Also the apartment has a lot of broken lights and many power sockets don’t work. The beds are good and it was clean. It’s situated in the centre, which is really great. "

"It was comfortable for the 3 nights we were there. We liked it has a kitchenette and fridge. It was very basic but everything worked. Bed is a pull out sofa and was ok. It's hard to find the place, Google maps sends you the wrong way. Gate is stuck by maybe that's a French thing. It's tricky to open the door, but the owner showed us how to do it. The owners are nice. The Internet didn't work. The owner gave us access to their own Internet but it was very slow. The description mentions there...
