"The place is a large farmhouse, 1000 years ago it was used by farming monks. 15 minutes from Barcelonette and everything the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour have to offer (We're hikers, but folks come here to bike or drive their Porsches on mountain roads too). Diane and Frederic are wonderful and attentive hosts and the home made breakfast will definitely make you come for more."

Besides the fact that the whole Montclar area won our hearts as we cycled through it, we have to commend the friendliness of the owners, the top-grade food served for dinner, and the delightful chalet-style setting. Un spa privatif, une borne pour recharger la voiture, on peut manger sur place aussi, et super petit déjeuner. Et bien sûr très bon accueil de Will. C’était parfait !"

"Das Hotel liegt in einem "ausgesprochenen" Ski Gebiet. Und so ist es auch entsprechend ausgerichtet. Man sprach Englisch und es gab alle Dinge wie Restaurant, Bar etc. Da der Sommertourismus nicht sehr groß ist wurde alles entsprechend reduziert. Kann man verstehen."

"Le logement est bien ainsi que le confort en revanche le repas est assez cher pour ce que ça été. La fondue n'était pas celle qui était annoncé ainsi que la charcuterie. Le petit déjeuner est assez simple pour le prix aussi. "

"Great hotel for a short or a long stay. It has a fabulous restaurant on site and is an easy walk to the town. The lake is close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On site parking is a bonus. "
