One the highlights was our hosts, who gave us great recommendations for both restaurants and things to do in the local area. The use of the pool and grounds made for relaxed afternoons, not forgetting their gorgeous dogs Tess and Sirius. We very much enjoyed our time here. "

"We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! "Un accès difficile aux chambres quand on a des difficultés physique. Le "monte charge" était défectueux... Incompréhensible Pas de télé sans la chambre. 65 euros pour un plateau repas qu'il faut commander 48h en avance. Pas de restaurant a proximité. Prise de chambre jusqu'à 18h00 pour avoir qq de physiquement présent. Un cadeau que j'ai fais a mes beaux parents mais déçu au global au regard du prix. Pour finir sur une note positive, l'accueil est bien, les chambres sont neuves mais...

"The property was clean but I was appalled at the lack of provision, particularly when it came to basic personal hygiene. There were no hand basins near the toilets. In addition, the hand sanitiser provided wasn’t working. Staff were initially dismissive. There was a handbasin the the room but not soap provided. Also no feminine hygiene bins. Would recommend against staying here. "
