"We had an overall pleasant stay. The staff were especially friendly and attentive during breakfast and dinner—always welcoming with a smile, which really made a difference. The food was surprisingly good for a hotel of this category, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The location is also a big plus, very close to TGV train station—convenient to everything we needed and easy to get around. Given the amenities and service, the price was very reasonable. A couple of drawbacks to note: our room DID NOT HAVE A SMALL REFRIGERATOR, which would have been useful, and there was NO room view to speak of, which made the space feel a bit closed in. The room #202 looked over a roof top. Still, for the value and service, we’d consider staying again. "

"Nice location for a one night stopover on way to Italy. Staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Large bathroom. Clean bedding and room (kettle and tea/coffee appreciated). All rooms are around a courtyard where the parking is so all on ground floor. Little noise from behind the hotel and think it’s near train line, so if you’re a light sleeper be aware of this."

"Beautiful old Chateau but modernised and comfortable. We were upgraded to a 3 person duplex which was comfortable but very stark. Lovely views. Breakfast was superb with the best eggs and bacon ever, fresh and soft. Dinner fine if expensive. Certainly one to consider on the long drive to the Alps. Peter "

"Our experience was superb. The accommodation had everything we needed and more. The views from the bedroom were stunning and on one occasion we were able to witness the full arch of a rainbow. Check in was welcoming and the surrounding area lovely. Thank you for letting us stay. A real iconic moment. "

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "
