Whilst VERY rustic, it has all the amenities you would expect, but is a compromise between a pretty old building and modern refurbishment. Perhaps not for everyone, but we loved it. "We loved staying here. The house was lovely and well equipped. However, the really big positives for us were the setting of the house and the helpfulness of the host. The house is set in a lovely green landscape with great views out in all directions. The garden was a brilliant size and the area for boules was amazing. "A well converted / preserved townhouse in Lisieux. The bonus for us was secure parking. Restaurant and bar closed on Monday (our visit) but the nearby Brit Hotel was a good alternative. Walk across a local manicured park or down a side street to the cathedral but I noticed all the tourist info. for Lisieux mentioned going elsewhere after seeing the cathedral. Relatively friendly town and a really nice quiet place to stay for the traveller. "
