"This was our first time in Mont St Michel. This hotel is located right off the Main Street near the entrance. It was easy to find. Staff was very helpful since you have to park your car off the site and then take a shuttle bus. Staff helped us to navigate that. The stairs were narrow as expected so travel light is the key. Rooms are comfortable. "

"This was the worst hotel I ever had in my entire lifetime. When arriving at the hotel we thought it was the wrong place, looked like a rebuilt workshop. They have totally 3 rooms with one toilet and one shower separate outside rooms. All 3 rooms have a very low standard, simple and uncomfortable. My reservation includes continental breakfast but the only thing that was available was coffee, juice, bred and Jams. I can’t understand why this hotel is available and allowed on Hotel.com homepage. "We had a very enjoyable stay at Gite Four a Pain. The accommodation was clean with excellent facilities and plenty of room for a couple. Our particular favourites were the generous welcome pack, the great shower, the wood burner and, of course, Max the donkey. We hope to visit again soon."

"Very helpful staff and comfortable and clean room. Little bit of a challenge coming off the highway and driving down the correct road to the hotel. I missed it the first go around, but understood the second time where I'd missed my turn. It's a good location, very affordable and if you have a car there is ample parking. Very much recommend!"
