"Room was great but restaurant on the property was terrible. Service was clueless and tables were cold and drafty in mid winter had to keep our winter coats on the entire time. Salmon dish came out raw. Just awful. Property had a fun wine tasting and I ended up buying a case of wine. "

"The property itself is gorgeous, located within the medieval old town and surrounded by blooming roses and an olive tree. Inside it’s modern and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The owner and her family went above and beyond to be welcoming kind and helpful. She even gave us a ride when we couldn’t find a taxi. We had a perfect stay and would come again!"

"To be fair, we booked on the road, arriving only an hour or two later. The hosts were not expecting us, and we felt as though we had inconvenienced them. Make sure if you want to eat that you book that explicitly. Im sure it’s a lovely place in different circumstances, but was not very happy for us"

Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. "Le Mas est magnifique, c'est le seul point positif.. Manque de politesse, de tact Enfants & Animaux interdits.. Endroit à fuir pour passer un week end amoureux C'est bien dommage Au niveau des chambres, 2 lits simples font office de grands lits.. Les bonbons sont collés tellement ils sont vieux. "This “bed and breakfast” is very hard to find, with poor signage and a rutted steep road to it. There is no reception area and, perhaps because it seems to be used for long term rentals, there’s clutter everywhere. The overall atmosphere is grim. "

"A beautiful house in a great location for exploring the area. Our room was spotless and stylish with a great attention to detail. A private outside sitting area and lovely pool. We were met by our host on arrival whom ensured we had everything we needed and helped us with planning our day. Fantastic varied breakfast each day, fruit cups, freshly made madeleines, cheeses and meats our first morning and smoothies and crepes the next. All served in a wonderful breakfast area with fresh flowers...

"Incredible location with the most wonderful views whilst we had breakfast croissants from the local bakery. The villa (and amazing pool) and the surrounding countryside are even better than the photographs! Christine and Lionel were just the perfect hosts, discreet but super helpful on the few occasions we needed guidance. Brilliantly located for short drives to the coast or inland to the vineyards or mountains. A truly memorable stay- highly recommended!"

"Nous avons passez une très bonne semaine en famille, le logement est très spacieux, au niveau du nombre de chambre rien à dire. Petit bémol : la clim n'a pas fonctionnée donc les journées et nuits ont été très chaudes. La piscine est entretenu à la demande donc parfait. Le petit village du thoronet est très agréable."
