"Apart from the bed collapsing on quite a few occasions, some of the parts of the house been mended by bodgit and scarper and the pool having seen better days. I quite enjoyed our holiday. It’s a lovely peaceful setting in which to enjoy the surrounding area. You just get the feeling that the house could be spectacular but they’ve gone for the cheaper option in order to maximise profits. "Our stay at Mossy's beautiful house in the French countryside was perfect. "We had such a relaxing time with our daughter on the farm. Esther and Fritz were so lovely and accommodating! It was boiling hot when we were there and Esther still took our daughter on a promised sunset horse ride. The house accommodations were exactly as you would expect on a farm, but all straight forward to use. It is very close to bigger towns like Confolens and Lesterps so it’s easy to pop out for dinner or cook in. Our daughter fell in love with all the animals and we really hope to book...

"We have just spent a wonderful fourteen days staying in this impressive place. It was clean, very well equipped and fit for purpose. The courtyard with covered dining area and “plancha grill” for outdoor cooking were a great bonus. An impressive garden and plunge pool was also most appreciated. The host, Jo, was available personally or by phone to answer any questions. Her advice and guidance on local events and places to visit was invaluable. We look forward to returning soon. Ian."

"The property was pretty and well-equipped, and perfectly located at the edge of the village for peace and quiet but walkable to the town across the viaduct. The garden and pool were lovely and served us well for relaxing days. The town is beautiful and quiet, had a couple of good meals in la Maison and Sensations, but mostly cooked as Intermarche, boulangerie and coop all close by. Altogether a lovely week by the river."
