This beautiful 19th century Breton house is just a few hundred metres away from the shores of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel.
It is located in the coastal village of Le Vivier-sur-Mer, famous for its mussel and oyster farming and its exceptional geographical location between Saint-Malo, Cancale and the mythical Mont Saint-Michel.
As you enter the house through the main entrance, a spacious and charming living room welcomes you with a new pellet stove, a rustic, original wooden ceiling, a large corner sofa and a dining table with seating for eight.
In the passageway to the kitchen at the back of the house there is a first toilet area on the left.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with premium electrical appliances: Five-burner hob, Miele dishwasher, oven and microwave. In addition to a breakfast nook with coffee machine, kettle and toaster, there is plenty of space for food on the shelves and in the fridge/freezer.
Adjacent behind the curtain is a small utility room with a Bosch washing machine. Laundry baskets and racks as well as various cleaning utensils are available there.
There is also everything you need for your seafood platter: a large lobster pot, oyster knives and cutlery for seafood. In the cupboards you will also find pots and pans of all kinds, cutlery, crockery and glasses for at least eight people.
The staircase in the living room leads to the first floor with a bedroom with two bunk beds (sleeps four) and a bedroom with a double bed. On the same level at the rear of the house is a high-quality bathroom with washbasin, bathtub, separate shower and WC.
A wooden staircase leads from the first floor to the spacious master suite under the roof. The railing around the staircase, the rustic wooden beams and the porthole lamp will quickly immerse you in this special maritime atmosphere.
From the double bed, you have a beautiful view of the second bathroom with a large shower cubicle, double washbasin and WC.
Free fibre optic internet access is available throughout the house. The box and a separate paper with the QR code are located under the large TV screen in the living room.
The sheltered terrace can be illuminated in the evening and invites you to linger on beautiful evenings in Brittany.
A barbecue is at your disposal.
There is a private car park in front of the former barn. Another car park is located directly behind our house in front of the kitchen.

In the nearby centre of Vivier sur Mer you will find a grocery with local produce, a supermarket, a bakery, a hairdresser, a pizzeria and several seafood restaurants overlooking the sea.
The area offers many outdoor activities: Hiking, jogging on nature trails, horse riding, fishing, cycling, beach sailing in the neighbouring communes, go-karting, bowling, sailing, swimming in the sea (beautiful sandy beaches 15-20 minutes by car between Cancale and Saint-Malo) or at the AquaMalo sports complex in Saint-Malo.
There are playgrounds and picnic areas with sea views in Vivier sur Mer itself and in the neighbouring villages along the bay.
The typical Breton towns in the area will delight you: Saint-Malo, a former pirate town, and the elegant seaside resort Dinard have their own charm thanks to their history and characteristic architecture.
The nearest town is the medieval-looking Dol de Bretagne. At the Saturday morning market you will find local and natural products, many regional specialities, typical culinary preparations and a nice tourist hustle and bustle.
After that, you will be well prepared to visit the famous monastery Mont Saint-Michel, which is only 25 kilometres from Le Vivier-sur-Mer and is clearly visible from our coast.
