New construction 5 Bedroom 3 1/2 bath home centrally located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Home is designed to sleep 12-14 guests comfortably. Favorite features include TV’s in each bedroom, large TV’s in living room and family room, inside fireplace, outside hot tub and fire pit, and a large game room with many options. This home is in the Powderhouse Pass development and features a community clubhouse with pool table and shuffle board as well as a community swimming pool. Plenty of room for parking trailers for snowmobiles and ATV's. Short walk to the community building and clubhouse with outdoor heated pools (one open year round), splash pad, and fire pits.

Thanksgiving is always WONDERFUL to spend with Family! Our tradition was BLESSED beyond measure with this FULLY stocked beautiful home nestled in the trees and what the Hills has to offer. Very comfortable & clean for our children and grandchildren! Kitchen FULLY stocked, high chair, games, toys and books for the kiddos, Hot Tub to welcome us all, phenomenal Location to do a little Deadwood and take in the Christmas North Pole train ride from Hill City. Wouldn't change a thing! Great communication with the host!

Loved our time at the Black Hills. This home was beautiful and well taken care of. Every room was amazing and every detail from the blanket/ throws to the coffee mugs were lovely. Family and friends really enjoyed our stay at the Kickback Shack. Everything was clean and organized for our stay -- the house is spacious with an open layout. Everything we needed was there. Questions or concerns home owner was in contact within 2 hrs max each time. AMAZING JOB! Two washer/dryer sets were perfect for our group of 11. Two refrigerators. Room for 7 motorcycles (could have fit more) and chairs , coolers for evening gathering (in the driveway). We also hung on the deck some nights while grilling. Plenty of dishes to cook breakfast and dinners at the house and a table we could enjoy a meal together.

We took our family and kids’ friends to Terry Peak to ski before Christmas. The Kickback Shack was so clean, so spacious, so comfortable, and so relaxing. It was even better than advertised! The few issues we had were promptly resolved by the property manager and communication was seamless. We had a fabulous time and hope to return again in the summer!

This was a large new, wonderful, clean, beautiful, modern, easy access home. We were happy the garages were available for our vehicles as storms went through the area while staying. The owner was easy to work with responding quickly to any of our questions during our stay. It was absolutely perfect for our group. Wow, the Kickback Shack was the perfect choice for our 2 families/group of 12. Beautiful house, with the huge game room as a bonus! Our wide age range of kids had the greatest time with all the different game options! Even little tractors and books for our 3 year old son. This house had it all! We were sad to leave, and we would highly recommend it to anyone!

We came here for a long weekend of utv riding, the house did not disappoint. It’s a nearly new home with cool western architectural details. The house is fairly well decorated, the garage floors are coated and they even have a power washer on site. The pool and Comunity room is not far from the house, though we didn’t spend any time there.

We have been coming out to the hills skiing with our kids and friends for over 10 years and have stayed in many different cabins in several different developments near Terry Peak. This cabin is the best we’ve stayed at…Immaculate, fully stocked kitchen including spices & coffee, a welcome gift, 5 king beds with high end linens, heated garage, perfect location and an amazing game room. Communication with the owner was a breeze with quick response to questions. Had such a great say and stayed up way too late playing poker the game room;) Thank you so much!

From booking to checking in, our experience went amazingly smooth. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. And our 6 grandkids loved and hung out in the game room when we were there. It even had toy farm equipment. That was just what our 3 youngest boys love doing in real life and playing. We were very close to Andy's trail rides so I took our grandaughter for a ride . It was stunning and they were very accomodating. We highly recommend this Kickback Shack, and plan on keeping it on our growing list of favorite places to stay in the hills. Thank you Brad!!

The hospitality and amenities here were above and beyond, we even left some behind for the next guests. Plenty of chairs, kitchen utensils, table space, snow shovels and sleds for the winter months, even a pressure washer. Anything and everything you might need will probably be here. For us the entertainment value was second to none with no less than a dozen activities not to mention the board games available. Some needed a little attention but we were able to play all of them. The only negative experience during our stay was no dresser or shelf space in the bedrooms. Not everything can be hung up and we had to function partly out of suitcases. Thank you for having us, we would certainly book again.
