The space

Our Hyco Home is located on a unique and private bend of the lake and provides an incredible water view and perspective.

The Hot Tub is for colder-weather use. During the summer the tub will be off-line so you may enjoy the lake.

Feel free to also check out our sister properties "Hidden Haven", "New Hyco Haven" and "Hyco Paradise". The homes are completely renovated and have all the water toys and activities as well in order to make time on the lake truly great.

Large Hyco Home has 11 beds that sleep 15 . See below for more details on sleeping/bedroom arrangements.

The home is also built to entertain! There are DVD's, board games, corn-hole, ping pong, pool table, a record collection, an arcade-style video-game console and six smart TV's.

Large Hyco Home is fully equipped for groups that love to cook. There are two full kitchens! The main floor and newly renovated kitchen is fully stocked and the one in the basement is un-stocked but has a full size fridge, oven, and dishwasher. There is also a gas grill on the balcony and propane is provided.

Guests enjoy plenty of space to have their meals! There are two dining room tables on the main floor, one in the eat-in area (6 people), one in the hybrid dining room (6 people), and a large table on the deck overlooking the water (10-12 people). A folding table can be brought up from the basement as well as chairs from the dock for another 6 on the porch. The dock also has a smaller 4 person table.

The house was designed with the water in mind! A large sunny deck overlooks the lake with a wrap-around porch upstairs to relax over food and drinks. There is a shaded porch downstairs if you want to get out of the sun.

The bedroom/sleeping layout is as follows:

Main floor -
Master: King bed with private bathroom (with Pack & Play) and 50 inch smart tv
Hybrid dining room / bedroom: Can be set up as a bedroom with a day-bed and pull-out trundle or as a dining room.

Second floor -
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed w/ 43 inch smart-tv
Bedroom 3: Queen Bed w/ 43 inch smart-tv

Basement -
Bedroom 4: Queen Bed w/ 50 inch smart-tv
Bedroom 5: Four twin beds -- 1 is a pullout trundle

Common area: Day-bed with pull-out trundle


All the lake house essentials are covered! Linens and bath/lake towels are included. Separate washer/dryer units with soap upstairs and downstairs for cleanup.

Stay cool - two-zone AC and ceiling fans in every room. Starlink satellite internet.

Pontoon boat available for rent. Specifics on the boat and logistics below. One boat lift is available on request if you bring your own boat or just tie up on the dock.


**NOTE: There is no refund if the Hot Tub is not working. We will try our best to make sure it is working and in good condition at all times but are not responsible for a refund if it isn't working or is off-line for repairs and maintenance

With over 160 miles of shoreline to explore, your stay is not complete without a boat.

BOAT RENTAL:

Working in partnership with Hyco Lake Boat Rentals, we can provide a 2020 20’ Crest that has a 115HP motor. This is a relatively new boat that seats 10 passengers for cruise or 8 for water-sports. Perfect boat for exploring and relaxing on beautiful Hyco lake. Twenty-foot Sun Crest seats ten (at an absolute maximum). Go for a swim, drop anchor for a pristine picnic, or catch some Crappies, Catfish, or Bodie Bass. Contact us and let us help you have one or more of the best days ever on the water. If tubing only 8 are permitted on the boat (including those tubing). The boat is $350 a day or $1,550 for a week. if you arrive on a Sunday and leave the following Sunday, you will rent the boat for 6 full days which constitutes a week. If you only rent for a single day on the weekend from May to September then the price is $415 for the day.

Note: The Boat Rental is also available for anyone who does not plan on renting with us, as long as the boat is available. Reach out to Hyco Lake Boat Rentals for that.

• The renter needs to be 26 years old or older. The operator/s need to be legally permissible to operate a boat.
• We are not held responsible if Hyco Lake Boat Rentals does not rent out boats due to restrictions or limitations on lake use due to weather conditions, safety advisories, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Other things to note

LAKE SAFETY RULES:
• NO jumping or diving off the dock
• Use of the water toys/activities is at the guest's own risk and discretion

HOT TUB:

There should be an expectation that the hot tub will be offline from Memorial Day to Labor Day

If the hot tub is undergoing maintenance or repairs and is unavailable during your stay, there are no discounts or refunds. We will do our best to make it available in the non-summer months, but there are no guarantees.

Please note that in the event we need to drain the hot tub after your stay, there will be a fee of $350 to cover the cost of maintenance and cleaning. We strive to keep our hot tubs in excellent condition for all of our guests to enjoy, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping them in top shape.

No glass in or near the hot tub or pool. If there are any remnants of glass, guests will be charged a $2,000 fee.

If guests drain the hot tub, a $1,000 fee will be charged.
Guests will also be held liable for any damages resulting from this action.

Note: The lawn service provider may come to take care of the lawn during your stay.

PETS:
• We allow a maximum of two (2) pets not weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
• Pets must be supervised at all times.
• Pets must be declared upon reservation

The lawn team comes on Thursdays.

Use of the kayaks, paddle-boards, and other water toys is at guests' own risk and liability.

You are welcome to rent the boat, but it is not required. If you choose not to rent it, the Hyco Lake Boat Rentals crew might need to come and take the boat from the dock to other renters.

Large Hyco Home is close to Virginia International Raceway, Hyco Marina, Tunnel Creek Vineyards, Jibtopia, Bar 119, Roxboro Country Club, and other area attractions.

Quiet time is between 10 pm and 6 am. Please do not play outside music and keep noise to a minimum in order to respect our neighbors.

Firewood is stored along the driveway uphill from the house.

The primary renter must be 25.
