Landhaus Erika was a wonderful stop along my road trip route. The rooms are lovely and well appointed, the bed extraordinarily comfortable and the staff were responsive and so helpful. I was disappointed that the hot tub was not in service and the infrared sauna unavailable for use, but I very much enjoyed the steam room and large soaking tub in the room.
The included traditional German breakfast was a fun experience, the coffee excellent and plentiful and the servers attentive and cute in Bavarian dresses. I did not see any gluten-free options for toast, and though there were many options for breakfast cold cuts, they were all pork based - the would be the only things I would change.
Also worth noting; the downstairs rooms and balconies face directly onto the exterior walkway leading to the village center. It did not bother me, but I could see where it might be a detriment to someone seeking privacy.
