We had a wonderful room with a screened balcony. A small refrigerator outside our room was convenient for all guests and used for snack foods and water. The terrace was perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner with several sets of tables and chairs. Relaxing in the hammock was great for an afternoon nap. Street noise was never a problem.

Convenient to so many things and less than 10 minutes to central/ old Lecce! The gentleman that greets you there is super available and attentive kind and answered all our questions quickly! Despite parking in the listing, though, you must find street parking and the cleanliness in both the bedroom and bathroom was very very lacking (we saw a few insects and body hairs in the bed, the sheets were old, the light between the 2 beds didn't work, there was an inch of gross dust on the ceiling fan, the shower head leaked because it wasn't attached all the way). You have everything you need in the room and on the balcony that is included, but new sheets and a professional cleaning and dusting would make a world of difference.

We didn't feel welcome in this place. Hard to find place. Staff/service were disappointing. Six steps to elevator. Bed comfortable. Well sized room. Well sized shower. A/C-Heat controllable at room. Long walk to historic city center. No room cleaning. Noisy housekeeper.

Ideal base to explore the old city of Lecce

We chose to stay at B & B Aroura (a converted apartment), whilst visiting Lecce. We arrived by hire car and found a parking space within 2 minutes walk. The B & B is located on the third floor ( option of stairs or lift ) of an apartment block over a cafe and post office. The main entrance from the street has electronic locking and so is very secure. We were met by Roberta who spoke very good english. She explained everything very well, asked us what we would like for breakfast, which was served on a very spacious sun terrace. When breakfast was served it had exactly what we asked for. The room was very spacious and had just been redecorated. The old city was a 10 minute walk away. Thank you for making our stay memorable

Vicino al centro storico e alla stazione di treno in un palazzo sicuro e riscaldato, la stanza con due letti singoli è abbastanza grande, il bagno è comodo con asciugacapelli, sapone e shampoo.La colazione è semplice ma buona. Se vogliono, gli ospiti possono servirsi della cucina per cucinare. I padroni di casa sono accoglienti e disponibili. Sole ci ha prestato i tapettini per fare i nostri esercizi e Raffaele ci ha dato informazione sulla città e ci ha portato all'autonoleggio e alla stazione. Insomma nove bei giorni a Lecce. Grazie Sole e Raffaele!

Good accomodation not in the nicest area of Lecce

We had expecte that the Aurara B and B Would be more like a small hotel with more facilities.However it was an easy walk to the old town where the places to see are located and many eating opportunities.The owner who picked us up and returned us to the airport at |Brindisi was very helpfull and the lady who acted as chambermaid and did the breakfasts was very nice ,the breakfasts were excellent,

Accueil très sympa et breakfast délicieux.

Raphaele le propriétaire, nous a accueilli avec un grand plaisir. Son B&B est vraiment sympathique, notamment sa terrasse (sur le toit) qui est parfaite pour prendre le petit-déjeuner ou pour boire un verre tranquillement le soir avant d'aller se coucher.

Mysigt B&B

Litet B&B som ligger i ett vanligt hus strax utanför Lecces gamla stad (200 meter till stadsmuseet, 400 meter till stationen). Den trevliga föreståndaren (som pratar bra engelska) möter upp och visar runt. Stora rum med bra badrum. Frukosten serveras på en stor tersss, av en jättetrevlig dam (som tyvärr inte pratar engelska). Var beredd på att frukosten mest består av olika söta bakverk från ett lokalt konditori! Personalen hjälper gärna till med kartor, tågtider m.m.
