Very nice B&B

Really nice B&B in central location. Very large room and nice courtyard. Breakfast is simple but generous and coffee/tea available at all times. Unfortunately wifi wasn't working when we stayed and phone signal couldn't get into the old building.

Buena ubicación, cómodo y acogedor

Es un hermoso lugar, cómodo y muy bien ubicado. Está muy cerca del Duomo y de los lugares e iglesias que hay que conocer en Lecce; también de la estación de tren. Es muy acogedor y es muy buena la atención de Giovanni. Muy recomendable!!

Lovely accommodations.. BUT... !!!!

Firstly, I must say that the accommodations are clean, beautiful and very relaxing.. but that's where the enjoyment ends. The host, who's name I never found out, is as hospitable as a brick wall. Upon check-in, he said hello with a smile, gave us the keys and didnt explain how anything works in the place (we were unable to open/close electrically operated windows also the Wifi never worked in our suite, he promised that his son was to come and fix it, which he never did, he never explained to us how to use the washing machine with which we were expected to wash our own towels (???)). The host did not make himself available during the 4 day duration..he would only show up in the morning to empty the ash trays in the common areas and he would avoid the guests while doing that then quickly disappeared. We had no way of knowing where to find him. He never even informed us of the checkout procedure, and its only by talking to another guest, that we found out that we just had to leave the key in the door. Furthermore, despite all thecomfort int he room, the shower stall was essentially a shower head in the wall and a curtain.. every attempt to take a shower resulted in inches of water on the bathroom floor.. this place has lots of potential, but under different management.. right now, its just a pig in a dress... unfortunately.
