"This is an excellent hotel. The staff were so friendly and kind and helpful. They would have made the stay special even if the rest of the hotel wasn't nice. However, everything was fantastic, not just the staff. It has an amazing location right in the historic center but close enough to the University and other shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean and nicely decorated. The breakfasts were very nice and they would make other things for you as well. We would go back to Lecce just to stay here again."

"This facility is well located and at one time had its charm. However, it is in need of capital to upgrade and refurbish. Staff not trained in hospitality and service. Amenities are none to speak of inclusive WiFi, Tv, and room amenities. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mamma Elvira, which is in the old city. A lovely welcome from Serena, the owner, who showed us to our room which was a beautiful suite and private terrace. There was a fridge with a mini bar and bottles of local wine to purchase. We had a problem with our air conditioning early on which was dealt with very promptly Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice including local savoury and sweet options which Serena explained to us. "
