Staff friendly and polite. Food very good. Service efficient and attentive. An old inn, retaining its country feel. Room clean, with the usual tea coffee facilities. Would stay there again, if ever out that way.

Great place to stay! The room was very comfortable, food delicious (we had dinner and breakfast), all the staff really friendly and helpful, and the whole set up with parking and a lovely beer garden all made for a great night's stay. Thought it could be noisy but wasn't at all. Would definitely stay again (or drop in for food and drinks) if ever back in the area.

A classical British country inn

Excellent location close to Ledbury, bustling pub and clearly very popular with locals with excellent friendly service and good food plus drink selection. Comfortable bed but easy to hear other room activity so not easy for a light sleeper - decor is a bit tired but see through that and you find a classical British country inn offering an honest service.

Excellent place to eat and or stay

Wonderful stay, we were made as welcome as you could be, they took marvellous care of us and our 20 month old neurotic collie. Would heartily recommend this place to stay and as for the food this place has a reputation for good food justifiably deserved so staying over or eating you can't go wrong!
