10/10 Excellent
"Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The property was impeccably clean, and the staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and friendliness. We were pleasantly surprised when the General Manager took the time to personally greet us and inquire about our stay — a thoughtful gesture that did not go unnoticed. A particularly memorable touch was the personalized welcome message displayed on the television upon our arrival, which added a unique and warm element to our visit. The team managing the complimentary breakfast was efficient and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to our day. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would gladly return."
"Had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. perfect location, lot of dinning options nearby. Would definitely stay here again!"
"I like that it’s close to the highway but not so close that you hear traffic, the proximity to restaurants and grocery is appreciated along with stores. The swimming pool and work out area is also nice when you’re away from home "
"I really liked the location of this property and the unique styling of the rooms. I stayed innthe Steampunk room. It had a beautiful high ceiling, with skylight and a large rainfall shower. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows and it had a basket with some snacks of cookies and chips. A coffee press with instructions was an interesting addition. A memorable stay for sure. "
"Very interesting Sir Issac Brock decor. You couldn't as for a more welcoming and helpful couple, the best B&B ever. A wonderful visit. Highly recomended."
"Absolutely loved this place! We opted for a waterfront room and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the river from the tables inside and outside. It's so peaceful and calm - no excess noise, from the road or elsewhere, etc. We opted to stay an extra day to soak more in.
Otherwise, the shower was fine, the bed was fine, the room came with a fridge and microwave, chairs, and a superb staff who went out of their way to be certain everything was "set" for us.
Breakfast had plenty of options for pretty much all taste buds and diets - along with a staff member being sure all was well there.
Great location with a short drive to Prescott or Brockville for restaurants and more.
Would we stay here again? Definitely! If we had more time on this trip we'd have added more than an extra day!"
"Shane is the host you dream of. My wife hurt her knee while we were out hiking and he sent his son in town to get the only pain killers she can take.Design of the cottage is perfect - wide open view of the lake with no cottages in sight! Just trees and great sunsets.Don't be fooled. Yes, there are several big campers around the cottage but surprisingly peaceful. If you like hiking, check our McIntosh Mill Trails. BeautifulIf you're looking to swim without being hindered by weeds, canoe or kayak across the lake. There are areas there where I was able to swim "lengths" for 20 min. "
