Although this hotel may at first appear dated it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel provides value for money in a great location. Our stay at the Boundary Hotel was greatly enhanced by Andrew who went above and beyond at every stage to look after us.

Comfortable, if small room with sink. Good value for money and close to transport links to the city centre.

Lady on reception/cook/cleaner was non stop, she was doing multiple tasks. Her cooked breakfast was good and tasty.....BUT they are the ONLY good points.
The hotel is screaming for a FULL overhaul from top to bottom. The whole hotel is tired and dated.
worn carpets
A good clean accommodation, nearly inside the cricket ground. I enjoyed my one night stop over, with no problems. Friendly receptionist willing to help..
Staff helpful. Was staying the night as I had to be up early for a conference at the Village Hotel and couldn’t afford their prices. I was late to the conference as I slept in, so must have been a comfortable bed. Very easily located in the heart of Headingley (just near the Cricket ground) and had parking, so a great all round.
Basic Hotel. Great breakfast. Fantastic location.
Staff extra friendly and helpful.
Overall cant complain about anything.
Would stay again.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was ok, a little unclean and chewing gum stuck on the wall next to the bed. Ideal for a cheap, one night stay
Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated.

Good
Worth the value for money, clean and quite environment
The owner and staff are lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Unfortunately the room needs some upgrading and TLC, the sink didn’t work and the carpet was rather grimy. The toilets and showers are in need of repair and cleaning, we had breakfast once but again it wasn’t overly clean so decided to go elsewhere after that. Really friendly and welcoming group of people.
So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella at 0930 having his internal chat with himself put me off a bit. Black mold across the bathroom ceiling and the bath panel hanging off didn't fill the room with much of an element of hope neither did the radiator being held on ny clasps. The hacking coughs of "residential guests" long into the early hours of the morning lead to a nights sleep in the loosest sense of the word. The bed had an aroma that i still cant figure out as ive never smelled anything close to it. Plus side it was local and not too far to walk into headingley which with the otley run and puking drunk students was a blessed relief from going back to the Boundaries to sleep.

The hotel badly needs renovation. The carpets worn.toilet roll hold felt off the wall.
Good staff & breakfast, too noisy with thin walls.
The staff were great and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent and very good value for money.
Not the hotels fault but there was loads of noise and commotion until about midnight with paper thin walls, so if you're expecting an easy and early nights sleep perhaps review your expectations!
