Parts of the hotel are being renovated at the moment, but this didnt effect our stay, it was peaceful, clean and the staff went above and beyond to make my friend and my stay a great experience. Our accommodation was perfect, it was spacious, clean and very up to date and modern. We both agreed that we would definitely stay again.

Upgraded free to a New double delux room on Top floor, I thought WOW lucky me! shower hardly worked! No air con working so the room was crazy hot! Wouldn't have payed the renovation teams that worked on this hotel with peanuts! Shocking!

Lovely old skool hotel , my room was clean and functional , the bathroom was also highly adequate , my only misgivings was the bed was too soft for my usual sleeping comfort

Stayed here for the 3rd or 4th time. Rooms are a little dated and could do with being updated however for the price, closeness to the centre and train station its worth staying at and will stay again. Breakfast was lovely as usual.

The property was right where we needed it to be in terms of accessibility to the heart of the city and the train station. It looked nicer in the photos than in real life, mostly because they were promoting renovations to the property that were not yet complete. In our rooms, the fixtures were older, but our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We would have preferred to know in advance about construction, but the staff were gracious and let us into one of our rooms early, since it was ready. We were tired from traveling and needed a chance to rest. Staff were very nice and professional. They held our bags for us after checkout. The breakfast was tasty and available until 11 am, which we appreciated.

Nice stay in central location

Main public areas were decorated really nicely for Christmas, and received a warm welcome at reception. My room was described as cosy and it was on small side but perfectly comfortable for solo traveller. Ate in the restaurant, very tasty meal.

Great location

We stayed here as we were attending a concert at the arena. The hotel was in the perfect location for the train station which was just around the corner. It was a bit of a walk to the arena but we wanted to get food on the way so it gave us the opportunity to find somewhere. At check in the staff were super polite and ensured we had all the information we needed. The room was clean and tidy and the facilities in the room were great with an iron and hairdryer to hand if needed. We booked the breakfast in the morning which was beautifully cooked and very filling. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

The room was very basic furniture wise, there was a safe, tea, coffee, biscuits, iron, fan. My room 221, the shower was just a dribble when on hot and at 5 in the morning there was a rubbish collection

My go to hotel when I visit Leeds

The hotel was extremely busy when I arrived, however, the receptionist checked me in quickly. Love this hotel, great location and comfortable rooms.
