The host/manager Michael was very responsive to questions & even gave us an option for an early check-in. We would definitely stay here again if in the area! "

"This was supposed to have 6 beds - there was one queen mattress on the floor of the loft and one double futon. Nothing more. To get to the loft, one had to climb a ladder with no handrails, just gripping the steps! As an older person, I could not do this. I was too uncomfortable. I did not trust that I would find it to get down safely in the night. The place was unlocked when we got there - for a person traveling alone, this was not ok. "We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!"

"Came to the cottage for some solitude and quiet between jobs. This was just what the doctor ordered. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away that it was always quiet and peaceful. Sitting in the chairs on the river was truly amazing. Jane was a fantastic host; would definitely recommend staying here, and would happily come back on my next trip to Woodstock."
