Way too expencive for the quality. No wifi all stay, had not worked for a month. Dirty, matress springs Broken and poking. Unhelpful personell.

With in Legazpi to see the volcano. Disappointed because the executive suite I booked has 2 single beds instead of a double and a single as per booking and no fridge. It could be a poor advertising and should be updated. Or I got ripped off. I did questioned about it but no luck. Just 1 night I let it go. I know it’s old building but should be tidier.

Friendly (gave me an umbrella out themselves cause it rained) , sober breakfast, opposit side street smal barking dog free hot water wifi only in lobby beds not sollid enough for lovers... warm shower toilets dont flush so good city is nice with a boulevard near the harbor, good food in the city

For its price, the accomodation snd services just enough. The AC is a bit noisy. No elevator, not good as we were given the top 4th floor and we have seniors. Stay for 3 nights and 4 days but not once they clean the room. Having a hot shower is good and parking just enough for 8 cars.

Magayon -- cheap and affordable, but caveat emptor

The Magayon is a cheap hotel, and you get what you pay for. Literally. First, I shall note that I reserved the room via hotels.com only 2 days before my arrival, and they couldn't find my reservation, even though I had a reservation number and some other info in text file in my laptop. So if possible, print out the complete reservation page before going there. The initial room we got had a bad AC (seized bearing), so I had to go down to reception, tell them, they then sent up some maintenance guy who checked it, and about 15 mins later, he brought us a key to another room. So we moved. The other room turned out to have a rusted connection to the faucet and started to leak pretty badly. After another trip to reception and 30 mins later we were in our 3rd room. While sparse and old, the room was reasonably clean and spacious. While the room had a modern TV and cable service, the signal on many channels were weak, so there were lots of snow on the display and the audio was noisy. (they should fix their cabling and/or add some RF amplifiers), The TV in our final room did not have any accessible HDMI input, so I couldn't hook up my laptop to watch my movies. They have a noon checkout with 150 PHP penalty for every extra hour. Since my flight was at 9 PM I tried to buy some extra time, but they didn't want to discount their rate. However, we could leave our luggage at the reception, and picked it up around 7 PM. That was a nice touch.

Perfect hotel for minimalist

I liked our stay in Legazpi because of.my accommodation in this hotel. Just as what i've expected,they deliver the best hospitality. Thank you to the hotel staff & i love the location you can easily get around the city. Thumbs up!

Honestly.. Just okay

Checked in for 4 nights with my friends, we got the family room with living area. Staff was accommodating, really pleasant. Just had a problem with the aircon for it wasn't working, had to call them about it twice. It's an old room but still okay. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom. If you're not the maarte type, then it's okay. Plus it's walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants.

One night was more than enough

This hotel is for locals what more can I say, it's not for anyone that expects any kind of normal western standard to stay in both the room or the staff. Their are a lot nicer hotels really close to this one. If you are on a super low budget than stay here.

the staff are nice and accomodating. Except for the shower which is out of order, we found our stay comfortable. The place is in the heart of the city hence very accesible to malls and other places of interest (i.e. embarcadero, airport, lignon hills)
