"Sketchy checking in, no one is ever at the front they leave a list of numbers to text for help, it’s like someone living there managing the place with babies and kids everywhere. "This was our 2nd time staying at Blue Cottage :) We thoroughly enjoy this little lake house and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to stay here. It is a great place any time of the year! We love that there are kayaks and a peddle boat to go out on the lake—we bring our own fishing poles but the life jackets are also provided. The smart TVs in every room allow for your own preferred entertainment. Along with card and board games! It is also located only 10 minutes from Lake Livingston so you can go explore the offerings there as well. Down to the little things that really matter—I can’t tell you how many times one of us forget our toothbrush: the owners are generous enough to have disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathrooms! Along with other miscellaneous items like womens needs, other hygiene items, shampoo and conditioner, dish wash soap in the kitchen, ziplock bags for leftovers, laundry soap for clothes washing—these are the things that really, really mean a lot and make it feel like home during your stay. We always look forward to spending time here! Thank you for sharing such a great place with us :)"

"The lakehouse was perfect for 5 adults attending a family function in Livingston. It was easy to find and easy to navigate in and out of. A great restaurant was almost within walking distance which helped us weary travelers. It is showing some wear and tear, mainly the paint, living room furniture and cabinet fronts but it was clean and inviting so it worked out well for us. The pool and backyard were wonderfully relaxing."
