"So charming! Service is lovely, the building is beautiful, and two courses of delicious breakfast out on the porch was a dream. A super quick drive to everything going on downtown, or a longer walk if you don't mind a good stroll. Would repeat this stay!"

"Beautiful 100 year old house. Our suite was roomy & we had everything that we needed, including plush robes. The rate was very reasonable & included an excellent free breakfast every morning plus a glass of wine & a charcuterie plate @ 5PM! The only downside was that the house & grounds could use a little TLC. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay & plan to come back again."

"We stayed here for three nights for our anniversary and it was amazing!! The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. They are very attentive to dietary needs. We stayed in the Royal Hideaway room with the jetted tub and it was well worth the extra splurge. The location is very convenient to downtown and to the Biltmore, but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. "Beautiful boarding house on the National Registry. Highly recommend staying here. Delicious breakfast, made to order, daily. Popular restaurant by night. My husband said the trout was the best he has ever had, anywhere. Walk to town or to Tomahawk Lake Town is a popular shopping destination 20 minutes to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge museum and parkway. Also check out the town museum and the huge antique store just off the highway. "

"Our stay was amazing. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed in the Carolina Cottage which is not in the main house. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet for sleeping. The breakfast each day was a 3 course consisting of a blended smoothie to start, followed by a small yogurt parfait or waffle and then the main dish that was a bit more substantial. Cookies and fruit were available all day, as was coffee and tea. Absolutely beautiful view from the porch of the main...
