"Great welcome for my early arrival. Easy to park. Check in was smooth although i wasnt asked if i would like to add breakfast. Room clean and a very welcome fan set up. 20%off food and drink so i stayed at the hotel for dinner. Limited choice but was nice and i ate outside. Following morning i was earlier than anticipated so i had time for breakfast. Unable to use the discount and i couldnt find anything that informed me i couldnt use it so this was annoying. One member of breakfast staff appeared very stressed and was abrupt to me. Later witnessed being rude to two guests who simply queried that the table they were given was just set for one. I will need to be in Leicester bi monthly for the next 3 years and the close proximity to amenities, parking and a walkable distance to the university means i hope to book in regularly"
"A really nice hotel with good parking, not so good if it was raining as you have to walk, the Hotel is lovely and the restaurant served some really nice food , although breakfast wasn't very good at all, stewed beans, no tinned tomatoes and the coffee cups were tiny, being charged £14 was excessive, restaurant food was delicious but a little too expensive"
"Our large room was very spacious and it had a nice homely feel. The bed was very comfortable and the right size. There was also a decent back patio to enjoy our private dinner. Window and patio door opens wide to allow sufficient ventilation into our room. The room is clean and tidy including the bedding. There was enough space to store our luggage including our belongings. The ensuite was adequate with a decent shower. Our only criticism is the lack of a sufficient desk fan to keep cool during hot weather. Otherwise we find our stay to be good value for money!"
