"Good location for a staycation "

"Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again."

"Host was very responsive. Apartment was clean and well ordered."

"Very individual property amongst other individual properties. Everything needed was in place. The location was great for visiting Market Harborough and the setting of the estate was a mix of rural and urban, a housing estate with fields and walks. A big plus (for us) was a local shop and cafe within walking distance. Parking was real bonus as I’m mobility impaired. The whole concept of the housing build has been extremely well thought out. I was impressed!"

"A very comfortable and welcoming place to stay, with a 5 star welcome pack. James' meals, (ready in the fridge on arrival) were delicious and tasty tasty"

"Piano cottage is as lovely as it looks in the photos! Very clean and finished to a high standard. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. As it's located almost in the centre of the town it's a very short walk to the local shops and restaurants - very handy having the Co-op 2min walk away for anything you forgot to bring! Lots of places to visit around the town and a short drive away - can recommend the parkland on the edge of the town and the Bosworth Battlefield Visitor...

"The house itself is good, comfortable, and fairly reflects the listing, with ample space for a large house party. However, our otherwise enjoyable experience was let down by the lack of attention to detail, in terms of house-keeping and maintenance/repair. When paying a top-end price (about 7k for 4 nights) it was disappointing that several lights did not work (including bathroom lights, dining room main light, bathroom mirror light), the Aga never got up to cooking temperature even after 4 days...

"First class accommodation Ideal quiet location Lovely area Very friendly local people"

"The horses cab was very cute and well designed, spotless and cosy.Very relaxing place, the views of waking upIn the morning with the horses are amazing. Also have pigs, a little pony that is very friendly and trots around in the open. Owners were friendly polite and very helpful on call with anything you needed help with. Even had a lovely wood fire whilst watching the stars. Recommend highly for a relaxing weekend break. Will be going back forSure. Thank you"

"Sophie’s Barn is a special find. We loved the setting in open countryside and the interior was great. Big open spaces inside and out. Bed and bedrooms are very comfortable and be linens are high quality. Great extras like games, artwork and welcome pack made things even better. We will be back. "

"The place is clearly a newly rennovated farm building, perhaps to the extent of being a re-build on an existing foot print. It looks like there might end up being around 8 rental properties on site. The kitchen is well laid out, and whilst there was pleny of stuff for the three of us, I think a few top-ups might be in order if this is really intended for 4-6 people. Hot water is through a tank, so limited in quantity - there was just enough for showers (in the small downstairs bathroom) but one...
