Good if travelling by car, but a bit far out of town with only 1 bus per hour into the centre. Front desk staff not always available we had to wait for them to return.

Warning

This is not a hotel for people without private transport. It’s over 5 miles from the city centre and buses run infrequently. There is also a lot of traffic noise from a nearby road if you have the window open and since the room faces west and gets the evening sun it becomes very hot with the window closed. There is no air-con, no fridge, no safe and the towels are thin and cheap.

Without a car, it is very difficult to get into town. Taxi drivers do not want to come out that far. Public transportation is not close either. The shower is like entering into a space capsule and small if you’re not a petite person. The bolt on our door did not work. The mattress had nothing to keep it in place so would slide when you got on and off the bed. The angled ceiling beams prevent one from walking to the other side of the bed without significant bending—not for tall people. The younger male nighttime desk clerk is very friendly and was helpful. There is no AC but you can open windows fully although it’s noisy outside and if you’re on the entrance side guests stand outside and smoke.

Gutes Hotel mit nettem, entgegenkommendem Personal. Parkplätze sind um das Hotel vorhanden. Es ist unweit der Autobahn. Nebenan gibt es ein gutes Restaurant "Zum Pferdestall", welches auch eine Bowlingbahn hat. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Norma) ist in Sichtweite. Ein Fußweg von 10 Minuten und noch weitere 10 Minuten mit dem Zug und man ist am Hauptbahnhof.
