"This hotel is one of a kind. Tranquil, lush surroundings and well maintained. The staff are attentive and friendly, particularly Alexis and Jeti! The food at the property is lovely but expensive. There is plenty of choice for tavernas and restaurants just outside the hotel. We were very sad to leave but will be back next year! "

"We loved our stay here!! A peaceful location with great restaurants and cafes nearby. We stayed in a mountain view room, big and comfortable, with a small kitchen which came in handy to prepare our daily Greek salads :) Alex is the perfect host and nothing was ever a problem. The pool area was spacious with gorgeous ocean views. Property is well maintained and so clean. Easy accessible parking was a bonus, as was the free use of the machine. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was still hard to leave. "

"Check in good, bell boy helpful and explained the hotel room facilities. Room nice, but for a suite very small and cramped… Bar staff friendly and professional. Breakfast, was extremely disappointing. No fresh fruit, limited choices of bread and most breakfast regular items. Buffet area, very small and limited space.No table service for coffees/tea etc. Overall unimpressed with this hotel! Would not stay again, extremely overpriced…"

The rooms are beautiful, the view is beautiful, the staff are so accommodating and welcoming and friendly. I would love to have an opportunity to return to this property again one day!"

"Lovely location, close to airport , food excellent, staff very helpful and late checkout available There are planes flying close overhead- they dont come over early or late /about 5 per day Yes the hotel wants updating - however, it is authentic and any issues are swiftly rectified - we didnt have any issues. A mosquito detereant is available to use in each room. Phone Garden or sea views The pool is warm, there is no diving or jumping as no lifeguards present. There is a children's pool - children under 12 need to be supervised. If you are looking for a relaxing, nice time and as the day goes buy, with poolside bar and food this is the place for you. There is aircon in the rooms, phones and roomservice is daily. There is also a TV and fridge - no kettle provided (we didn't need one) Greek law states you must pay a local room tax oer night 1.3 euros The bus service timetable is in reception- the times are when it leaves its starting point, not when it gets to you. If you look out towards the sea, if you see the bus come round the road near there - you habe 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop out of the driveway turn right and its on the left to go to Argostoĺion or airport. Argostoĺion: 2 euros each Airport 1 euro each Armmes beach 700 yards - 15 minute walk (as receptionist for directions/ take note of where you are walking as buses and cars do go there too and all roads look similar) At beach when having a shower wear non slip shoes! Bar, food very good "

"Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of sunny spots. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fairly rural and there is no centre to walk around in the evenings - just pitch black lanes, but there are restaurants nearby so plenty of places to eat. The nearby beach at Ai Helis is beautiful and only a 15 minute walk. Would recommend a car if staying for more than a couple of days. "

"Great relaxed vibe with super friendly staff and lovely outdoor space. Rooms maybe a little basic but spotlessly clean, spacious and perfectly functional. Some great beaches and restaurants nearby (30 mins walk) but a car is essential for exploring."
