"the area is very peaceful and scenic. excellent place to see all that the rhineland has to offer. lots of places to walk and castle/berg's to visit. spent 2 weeks travelling and resting and didn't want to leave.Stairs to bedrooms a bit tricky to start with. i would recommend and stay again. "This place is HUGE! So many rooms and beds, very spacious and clean. Plenty of parking, multiple bathrooms...lots of towels, champagne upon arrival, great communication. 100% recommend if in this area. We were only 4 people but it can handle so many more!"

"The most peaceful setting we have ever stayed in with total privacy. The house has all you could need ...both inside and the garden area. Full sun from mid morning to late evening so we could fully enjoy the garden with its sun loungers (with sun brolly for shade) The BBQ was well used with lovely evening meals at the outdoor dining table enjoying the sunsets and then starry skies. "Me and my partner chose to stay here with our dog as we had not visited Alsace before. The property is in a great position in a lovely quiet village with easy road and rail access to Strasbourg. Bruno the owner was very welcoming and the property is clean and full of lots of interesting historical pieces of art and furniture. There is plenty of space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well fitted out with all modern appliances. I would highly recommend this property."

"Spacious and efficient. The host was there in case anything was needed (nothing was needed). The kitchen, dining room and living room were large and well laid out. "Wir hatten das ganze Haus für uns. Die erste Etage fungierte als Aufenthaltsbereich. Ausgezogen bot der Esstisch bequem Platz für 13 Personen - zum Essen und zum Spielen und zum Chillen. Und die Challenge „Kaffee kochen mit Kanne und Filteraufsatz“ haben wir auch gemeistert. Wir haben alles Nötige vorgefunden - von Spülmaschinentabs über Essig/Öl/Salz/Pfeffer bis zu einem Willkommens-Riesling und Freizeit-Tipps. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"Alle sind auf ihre Kosten gekommen. Von Mountainbiketouren, Wanderungen, Burgen bis Spielplätze war für alle das passende dabei. Viele Ausflugsziele waren fußläufig erreichbar oder in wenigen Autominuten. Das Objekt war sehr sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder."

"This is a quiet, comfortable house in a stunning, untouristy location. Lucienne is very nice and helpful. There are lots of great walks, on the doorstep and a short drive away. Don't miss Castle Falkenstein! We went to Wissembourg, Strasbourg and the Maginot line fort Schoenenbourg (which you can visit without a guided tour, unlike Four A Chaux, which by the way doesn't offer English language tours). Having the pool table is fun. We enjoyed our stay."

"The best gite we’ve stayed in, with lots of lovely small touches. If we were really picky the pool could be a touch bigger, and there would be seating outside rather than on a covered terrace (which was hot in the heatwave we experienced). But this place comes highly recommended! The wine couldn’t be more local, and the owners Richard and Monique and their family can’t do enough for you!"

"Jolie petite maison entouré de vert. Idéal pour quelques jours au calme. On a visité pas mal de villes au tour mais on a tombé amoureux de Lembach. Il a où faire des petites courses pas loin. Des belles promenades à pied. On a même eu la chance de voir deux beaux cerfs. Maison avec bonne literie, salle de bain impeccable seule be mol la cuisine pas très bien équipé.
