"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of one week. Hosts are next door and were very welcoming and friendly. Nonetheless, we were totally private. The house is extremely well equipped and lacks nothing. We would have no hesitation in recommending."

A wealth of first rate chateaux within easy reach, plus the Montlouis and Vouvray appelations (try Chidaine at Montlouis). With kind weather, this is an ideal gite, very highly recommended."

"We found 81 Bis to be a perfect location with plenty to do within a few miles of our base. The apartment was well equipped with views over the garden on 2 sides and parking for our car plus safe storage for the bikes. Shopping within easy reach and the beautiful city of Tours just 12 miles away. For us the bed was very hard and not to our liking but it might well suit other people. We are both 72 and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you"

"A lovely property in a quiet rural location. If you want to get away from it all and relax and drink wine,this is the place for you. The owner Jean Paul Duval who also owns the surrounding vineyard is one of lifes true gentlemen. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time in this Gite."

"A lovely holiday. The gite has a beautiful garden to sit in and is equipped to a very good standard.A warm welcome from René and Nicole on our arrival. We came to see the Châteaux of the Loire and there were many located very close to the gite. We didn't realise from the description that the bathroom was on a different floor to the bedrooms. This wasn't a problem for us, but could have been for others."

"Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. Our apartment overlooked the car park but in fact, it was really quiet, not overlooked by other guests and our balcony had a grear view of the fortress."

"what a find clean and tidy inside a bit dated but nothing to worry about. Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. The site could do alot more perhaps a bit if entertainment etc and maybe a møre better takeaway although this didn’t stop is having a good holiday."
