"Lacronan is of course a treasure, and, perhaps not unsurpisingly, is determined to keep cars out, even though there is a small hotel car park available for a few fortunate guests. Our route to the hotel, which is perhaps 200 metres from the central square, was barred by ongoing work to pedestrianise the area immediately adjacent to the hotel. We couldn’t understand why if you stayed for seven days or less towels and bed linens were free but if you stayed for longer there was a charge? Also apartment had to be cleaned before leaving but no cleaning products were provided "
