"The location is by far the most unique part of this stay - at the top of a mountain it has spectacular views. The large kitchen was nice, as was the coffee bar. However, the lower level bed was quite uncomfortable. A few other adjustments, including a TV in the main living space, a water filter, would have made the stay more comfortable. The check in process was straightforward and the host was very responsive. "

"We had a wonderfully relaxing few day stay in Syria. The location is perfect for easy backside access to key trails in Shenandoah NP without having to go to Skyline Dr. The house is bright and well-equipped. "

I booked this cabin explicitly for the hot tub on the deck - for my husband. He has back issues & after our 7 hour drive, he needed it. I checked with the owner a few days before to make sure the hot tub would be operational and he said yes it would. Then, a day or so later he told me that the "backup" hot tub was in place.
