Rustic Style Private Four Bedroom Chalet in the pretty Hamlet of Le Cruet
The lifts at Meribel's La Chaudanne area are only seven minutes drive away. For most of the winter it is possible to ski back to Le Cruet along the Blue 'Villages' piste and also down through the fields to the telecabine in Les Allues. The Chalet is on the edge of the village with wonderful view over Les Allues and the Meribel Valley. There is a very good complimentary bus service from Le Cruet only two minutes walk from the Chalet.

Snowy New Year
We stayed here over New Year and we loved the chalet, the master bedroom is fantastic, huge with lovely views. The living space works really well being open plan and there was plenty of space to relax in the evenings in front of the open fire even with 10 of us staying there. There is parking outside which is handy and it is just a short walk to the free bus up to Meribel centre (the busses were busy on the way back but it was New Year!) Lovely balconies off from the living room with great views. Would definitely return.

Fabulous 2 weeks in Chalet La Tarine
Beautifully modernised, spacious 4 bedroomed chalet. Have returned to Chalet La Tarine year after year and have never been disappointed. We particularly appreciate the open fire, stunning views and well equipped kitchen.

Excellent stay in the beautiful chalet
We had a lovely time at the chalet la tarine, very scenic views of the mountains and over the village. The chalet looks as though it has been recently renovated with a modern yet traditional homely feeling. It was perfectly clean with all the necessary facilities and more! 10/10 would visit again!

Fantastic
We wouldn't ordinarily write a review, in fact this is a first for us but this accommodation certainly deserves to be shouted about. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. Our first thought when we walked in was wow. Everything is brand new & very modern and light. This apartment has obviously just been refurbished. The kitchen has a breakfast bar which is perfect for pre dinner drinks and meal times. If you are self catering the kitchen is very well equipped. All bed linen and towels are provided and the bed was very comfy. The ski bus is only a two minute walk away. Or if your driving as we were there if free parking at Merible Village. ( but you need to be there early to get a space) we could not have wished for more even the weather gave us bright blue skies. We will definatley be booking again. It has everything you want for a fantastic ski break and right on the door step of the three valleys

Very comfortable, well equipped Chalet
This Chalet is a real home from home. Well equipped with modern appliances, very comfortable and everything you could wish for or need when self catering. Loved the views across the valley and the piece de resistance being the open fire. Everything that we needed was at hand and everything worked. Although not ski in/ski out, popping our skis and boots in the car and driving to the Altiport in the morning was not a chore. Want to go for 2 weeks next year!

Well equipped chalet with great views
Only a 2 minute walk from the regular free bus stop, this chalet is set in a beautiful and rustic village with great views down the valley. With a spacious living room area and well equipped kitchen it makes a perfect rental property for accessing the slopes. If you prefer to drive there is free parking in Meribel Village, about an 5 minute drive or access to Meribel centre in around 10 minutes. Plenty of storage for skis and other items in the garage which is
easily accessed from the parking area.

WoW!
My first thought when I stood in the chalet and then onto its balcony was WOW what an absolutely amazing view, halfway up a mountain, sun shinning and little villages nestling below us it was stunning.
The chalet was roomy and beautifully appointed with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Each room has bed linin and towels supplied and the beds were really comfortable, no waiting for the bathroom to be free either with 2 ensuite rooms, 2 separate toilets and a shower room. The lounge area gave us plenty of room too to spread out and relax too, the children were especially happy with having WiFi and UK TV programmes.
There was plenty to do in the area some beautiful walks and great cycling also some of the gondolers and chair lifts were open so you could get to the 'top of the world' without too much trouble.
All in all we had a fabulous time staying in Chalet Tarine, booking was no problem and the owner Andy easy to communicate with, a great place for a summer holiday as well as winter.

Beautiful chalet with fabulous view
We enjoyed our holiday at La Tarine this summer! We made several hikes, the surroundings are beautiful (you can buy a book with hikes at the tourist office in Meribel). We also visited Annecy and its lake and the glacier La Grande Motte. The chalet was very complete, it was really cosy inside and the view from the livingroom and the balcony is fabulous! Highly recommended!

Lovely chalet
We really enjoyed our time at La Tarine. It has a lovely view, a very nice kitchen / dining area, and a comfortable lounge area. We were 6 adults and 4 children, and felt the size was good. It definitely has the winter cozy feeling we were looking for.
I was not sure when we booked the chalet how far Le Cruet was from Meribel Centre - Chaudanne and how practical it would be to have to drive around. It turned out that driving to la Chaudanne was very easy, and that we never had a problem finding a parking spot even during one of the busiest weeks of the year (half term in both Paris and London). Neither were the parking fees extortionate, at under 10 euros a day.

Chalet la Tarine
This is a lovely chalet with spectacular views over Les Allues and the valley. It is well appointed and equipped so self catering is very straightforward. it is very comfortable and warm with plenty of space. we were a party of eight adults and did not feel at all cramped.
It is a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop with regular and free bus service to Meribel which takes about ten minutes or so. Or you take the bus down to Les Allues, about two minutes, and take the cable car up to Meribel.
All in all a very memorable week.

Super Chalet
We recently stayed at this Chalet for a week with friends & had the most fantastic time. The chalet itself has everything you could want - a real home from home but with the added bonus of spectacular views to the rear both day & night across the valley. Meribel centre is only a 7 minute drive away and Meribel Village is less than that. If you prefer to leave the car at the chalet there is a free bus service just at the end of the road. I would have no hesitation in recommending this chalet. In fact we were so impressed we are looking to return again this season.

Fabulous Chalet
We stayed for a 5 day break with friends. If your looking for a chalet that has fantastic unlimited views down the valley and a quiet location with easy access to slopes being only a few minutes drive or free bus ride away then look no further!
We arrived to a warm and cosy chalet with groceries and skis etc already delivered waiting for us, so it meant the next morning we were straight out on the slopes, on recommendation from the extremely helpful chalet owner Andrew.
The chalet itself has everything you would need and furnished to a very high standard, the lounge is quite large with a balcony and views down the valley but is still very cosy especially when you light the log fire, where you can relax after long day on the slopes.

Happy New Year
We stayed here over New Year with friends. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped and there is plenty of space in the lounge to relax in the evenings. It is only a short walk to the bus stop which takes you right into the centre of Meribel. We would definitely stay here again.
