"Outstanding service from the ladies at the reception, small but very quiet room with great view of the Basilica,clean and functional, although probably a bit small for 2 people. Great breakfast with nice selection of french cheeses. There are some restaurants in the neighbourhood but pay attention to public holidays, because they will be closed. The restaurant on site unfortunately was not working during the 5 days I spent there and the food at Halles is really pricey. Water despenser at the hotel is a nice touch, didn't see any water fountains in Lyon. The review is based on the price/ value ratio. You get what you pay for. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the room very quiet (double-windows and blackout curtains). The hotel amenities are really good. The location is great, right next to the river and within walking distance old Lyon, the opera, Croix Rousse. There's also a large choice of restaurants around."
