Fabulous house for a family holiday
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt that the house worked really well for everyone, including teens, grandparents and our dog. Communication with Valerie was very easy and we were met on arrival and shown round. The house has an extremely well equipped kitchen and the utility room with extra fridge was useful. The pool and large outdoor space are fantastic, well equipped and the garden is completely enclosed so great for our dog. Les Mathes is quite quiet but has an excellent food festival every Friday in Summer. We particularly liked the food markets and Praline & Bergamot patisserie in Tremblade, well worth a visit. Overall a great chilled out holiday and exactly what we needed!

Great house, great location, Valérie was very welcoming and helpful arriving promptly to let us in and see us off. Would definitely recommend this lovely house as it has everything you need for a super holiday.

Fantastic Property
We have recently returned from a Two week stay at this beautiful property and all I can say is Wow! We stayed as a family of 12 with our children, Grandchildren, a couple of family friends, and 2 dogs. From the moment I made my first enquiry about the property, up until the end of our holiday, communication from the owner Monsieur Prunier was excellent. He was very quick in responding to any queries or questions I had, usually within the hour. On arrival we were met by Valerie, who explained everything and showed us around. The house was immaculate and the little touches of name tags on the towels, and flowers on arrival was lovely. The two dogs with us even had name tags on the dogs bowls. Two of our party had birthdays during our stay, and birthday cards were left for them from the owner. The kitchen was very well equipped with every utensil and appliance you could ever need. The best part for us was the amazing outdoor area and the pool, where we spent most of the time during the extremely hot weather. There was plenty for the children in our party to do, whether it was the pool with the supply of inflatables, or the wide selection of toys and games available for them to use. The bedrooms were spacious and had fans if needed for hot weather. We had a 10 month old baby in our party and the property was well equipped for babies, including travel cot, high chair, baby towels and bath toys. Other reviews have mentioned the other property in the grounds and the caravan park next door. The other property did share the driveway with us, but was totally separate and this wasn’t an issue for us. We also never heard any noise from the caravan park. The property is located in a very quiet area on the outskirts of the village of Les Mathes. You certainly need a car or bikes to get to the beach or the buzz of La Palmyre, but again this didn’t bother us as we enjoyed the tranquility of its location. There are a number of supermarkets which we used in the village of Arvert, which is only approximately a 5 minute drive. Overall, we loved this spacious property, we did have high expectations, and we weren’t disappointed. We would all certainly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful as always!
We stayed at this house for the 3rd time this summer and again it was perfect. The house is so well equipped that it makes for very easy living. The children keep themselves entertained all day with the facilities and games which lets the adults relax completely. The house is also very very clean and super pet friendly. It’s about a 5-10 minute drive to everything so a great location as well. We couldn’t recommend this house more.

We feel more flexibility is needed over check in time. We had to stop overnight on our way down to enable us to met the strict 2pm check in time. Maybe a key safe would be a better option. Also we were not made aware of a house in the grounds at the moment it is empty but may have felt different it it was occupied. Overall we loved the house and pool very well equipped.

THE QUIET HOUSE
A truly relaxing environment with amazing facilities, everything you could wish for , it was a special holiday for us as a family with our two sons grown up now and moving on to there own future so it was important we had a memorable time, which we did. Rudy and Celine were great hosts and could be relied on if there were any issues but there were no problems at all, great weather, great food, great area, great pool,great time. Stunning house and yard perfect for young families.
We stayed here in August 2018 for two weeks and had an amazing time. The villa is perfect for two families (And especially dogs). There were so many things to do for children at the house we could sit back and relax whilst they entertained themselves. Lots of nearby shops and amenities as well making it a very convenient location. Nearby beaches are lovely and a trip over to Ile d’Oleron is highly recommended. The house was pristinely clean upon arrival with many personalised touches which was very nice. Rudy and Celine are very gracious hosts as well. We had one issue (which was our fault) and they arrived to fix it in under 20 minutes. I can’t recommend the house and location enough, we will surely return!!!

Wow! What a fantastic house, pool and garden. Well equipped, clean and comfortable! A special place!
We were a family of three generations and all had a wonderful time staying here. We have been to the area before and enjoy cycling and going to the coast but often we couldn’t wait to get back to the pool, as it was so lovely. The environment, peace and quiet were perfect and Celine and Rudy had thought of everything. The welcome pack and personalise labels on towels are a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to families and friends who like to get together and chill and anyone who enjoys nature and peace and quiet.

Beautiful modern house and gardens
Lovely modern furnishings and fittings. House stocked with everything you could wish for. Gardens large and perfectly secure. Great for kids. Location great for visiting royan, st palmyre etc 10 mins drive to large supermarkets and beach but we didn't walk out from the house at all. You definitely need a car here.

Fantastic break from start to finish
We had a fantastic break from start to finish. The villa was beautiful, modern and finished to a very high standard. Whilst the inside was beautiful and very well equipped, the outside was amazing with lots of space for the kids to let loose and enjoy themselves!! The location was great with lots to do nearby, we would fully recommend a day trip to the zoo and a visit to the lighthouse. Thank you for a fantastic two weeks, home from home. Alors que l'intérieur était beau et très bien équipé, l'extérieur était incroyable avec beaucoup d'espace pour que les enfants se lâchaient et s'amusent! L'emplacement était génial avec beaucoup de choses à faire à proximité, nous recommandons sans aucun doute une excursion d'une journée au zoo et à une visite au phare.
