"Nous sommes partis très souvent en gîte ou en locations diverses ; c'est la première fois que nous avons trouvé une maison aussi luxueuse : grande ,lumineuse , très propre , mobilier de qualité supérieure , literie de très bonne qualité . en fait un vrai palace !D'autre part un cadeau de bienvenue nous attendait : des bonnes tomates , production de Madame et de sa soeur .Notre séjour a commencé par un incident majeur ( voiture brûlée ) ; le propriétaire nous a assistés avec bienveillance . Un grand merci à lui . Ce gîte est une merveille qui fera , sans aucun doute , le bonheur des occupants suivants."

"My first time in a youth hostel (I am 62 and didn’t bother to translate the property name) My 13yo daughter was pleasantly surprised by the property and I hope it will encourage her to consider Youth Hostels in her future adventures (without me). Staff and other customers were friendly the accommodations were more that adequate although a little basic but for an adventurous younger traveller an excellent opportunity"

"Excellent hôtel. Très propre, chambre et salle de bain simples mais avec tout le confort nécessaire. Literie confortable, bouilloire café thé petits gâteaux à disposition. A 200m de la mer avec plage de galets où il est possible de se baigner. Parking privé gratuit. Le must est le petit déjeuner buffet très copieux et délicieux avec d'excellentes viennoiseries. Le tout pour un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Allez y sans hésiter."

"Really nice family-run hotel, situated in a quiet side street near the main area of Cherbourg for shops, bars and restaurants, and about 30 minutes' walk from the ferry terminal. Quiet, clean and comfortable, with a delicious buffet breakfast comprising many home-made treats. A comfortable bed combined with the quiet environment and blackout curtains to ensure a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious, clean and well-equipped, adding to the impression of a thoughtfully furnished and decorated room. Many of the staff you will encounter are members of the extended family who run the hotel, and you will find them to be friendly and attentive but discreet. They were also happy to converse with me in French which was good practice for me! I actually liked everything about it and I think you probably will too..."
