"Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s. On the positive side, public areas are clean and up-to-date and the staff are pleasant. The amount charged by this hotel is probably influenced by the fact that there are few hotels in the area. This is not value for money and I would avoid staying here if at all possible."

Its location in a charming town gave us easy access to nearby areas, making it a great base for exploring. We especially appreciated the people who made our stay smooth and enjoyable: Javier, our driver, was always punctual and thoughtful with our team’s needs, while Maria and Olga, our on-site hosts, went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and cared for. A special thanks also goes to Maria from Catalunya Casas, who went above and beyond to coordinate dinners, cars, and extra services for us. Altogether, the hospitality made our offsite feel effortless and well-supported. The only real hiccup was the Wi-Fi, which was inconsistent at times. The team responded quickly to address the issue, which we appreciated. Improving this for future guests would make an already wonderful experience truly seamless."
