"Nicely renovated house in one of the most beautiful villages in the Minervois. Great to have two bathrooms along with the two bedrooms. Well equipped and everything working. The owner lives close by and was very helpful throughout, providing wood for the fireplace during a cool spell. Charming terrace with views for warmer days. Highly recommended."

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

About 15 mins drive from pretty Olargues. Le Chene backs on to another gite and when this was occupied, we could hear everything they were doing. "Had 2 amazing two weeks holiday here. Great location, beautiful house and gardens, very well equipped. Lots to see and do in the area, Narbonne, Narbonne Plage, Lagrasse, Carcassonne of course. We will be back. The owner was great with communication and everything was as she said it would be when we arrived. The lovely Isobel ensured we had everything we needed."
