Ruins of Leswalt Old Church Not much of the medieval parish church remains standing. The main part, the nave, would have been just behind the building on the right, where a mass of vegetation is now growing. The taller gable is part of the Agnew aisle, added during the 17th century. The window was to the "Laird's Loft", a private gallery for the Agnew family of Lochnaw Castle. Burial enclosure, graveyard of Leswalt Old Church An 18th century enclosure near the gates of the graveyard. The carved plaque on the left of the entrance is in memory of Sir Stair Agnew (6th Baronet of Lochnaw, 1734-1809), also his wife, son and daughter in law.
Leswalt Community Garden A very pleasant garden, consisting mainly of raised beds. It is managed by the Leswalt Community Association, with the involvement of several youth groups. Two colourful boxes in this view have logos for the Rainbows and Brownies. For more information see the garden's website - http://www.leswaltwetlandgarden.org.uk/index.html .
