Very charming town and wonderful people. Great place to spend some time lounging in the hammocks to the sounds of the village. Room was basic but had what you need. The meals offered are authentic and very filling. Electric/internet only a few hours a day so a great place to disconnect for a bit.

Everyone was amazing, helpful and went above an beyond to make sure our trip was spectacular. I will be back there and I recommend it to anyone. Don’t miss out.

The best hotel you can find in the middle of the jungle. A great finding....For sure there are a few bugs, wi fi is not the best....but you can't expect more in the middle of nowhere. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Buru Hotel. Everything from the moment you check in is absolutely wonderful. From the owner who is present on the property, to the staff were all so welcoming and helpful. All of our tours were arranged through the hotel and were as expected. The place was very clean, and the staff (Alvaro and his son were really warm and welcoming We had steak, sausage, rice and French Fries by a bonfire at night.
