We knew nothing about the area as we were heading for the ferry to Sicily. This is definitely a resort area and it was past the season so the town and surrounding areas were pretty deserted. This wonderful "hotel" was still operating and it was absolutely perfect!! They also had a wonderful breakfast that was included. We basically had the whole resort to ourselves.

Great place, is all-inclusive. The room had a nice view and was super clean. Pool nice a large and great modern lobby area for an evening drink. It seems like a great place for families: they had kids activities and music in the evening. If you come by train, you need to get off at Letojanni station. No taxis in that station, but a 2 or three blocks walk (hard bec. of luggage on cobblestone) and you can go into a tunnel at the bottom of the hill and there you find an elevator that takes you to...

We really enjoyed the stay and wished we had more time to stay longer. Most of the staff were super helpful. Our room had an amazing view and it was comfortable. The bed was a little lumpy, but we still had good night's sleep. The food onsite was excellent.

It would be difficult to overstate just how wonderful this place is. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, the breakfast is wonderful, the owner is absolutely phenomenal (he even assisted me with gassing up my car before we left!), and the pool is absolutely magnificent…I’ve never seen a nicer pool outside of a resort!

Location and cleanliness. The staff was very accommodating.

The staff was wonderful. They even met us at the square and navigated our car up into their parking area. They just went over and above doing anything they could for us! The cottage was roomy, decorated nicely and super clean. The staff brought us anything we needed and even let me know when the spa was ready after it went down for 15 minutes. The views from the cottage were superb- from the terraces all the way out to the sea, and the garden with it's citrus and vegetables draped everywhere....

The 24/7 concierge was amazing! The staff were really helpful and answered any questions you had and were happy to book reservations to make your day trips as pleasant as possible. The complimentary breakfast every morning was fresh, hearty, and delicious - mad world to order eggs/omelets and coffee!

Enormous deck overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Room is clean, modern, with enormous windows to capture sky and sea. Hosts Giovanna and Francesco are welcoming, willing to allow dog-loving guests to socialize with their amiable Boxer, Bart. Owners on premises, and available. Only five units in this lovely home pitched cliffside. Walk to town is close, but involves stone steps up the hillside.Parking on premises makes coming and going easy, so best to drive to Taormina in my 74-year-old opinion....

Our stay at Medousa Suites was wonderful. It is located right outside of the main entrance to Corso Umberto/Main Street through Taormina making it a prime location. The room had a beautiful balcony with views of the water and Mt.Etna. The room itself was clean, bed was comfy, and we had a very nice coffee machine. Staff were great! This hotel is an excellent base for exploring Taormina. It's inside the walls, near shops and restaurants (although on the opposite side of town from the Roman amphitheater). The service was excellent and friendly. The breakfasts, served on a rooftop with a commanding view, were outstanding - pretty much anything you might want, including eggs cooked to order. Caution: you can't pull your car up to the hotel, which is in a pedestrian-only area. You park in a multi-story garage, take the elevator...

Palazzo Vecchio Taormina is an amazing hotel! It is a Palazzo that has been wonderfully and tastefully renovated. My room had an incredible view of the sea and the bells from an old church nearby. Waking up and looking out of the window and facing the morning light was unforgettable. We had a great time there location of the property was excellent.

We booked a room in the Rock annex. It was an entire, fully equipped apartment. The Rock annex is located across the street and down about one block from the main hotel. To be honest, other than doing the initial checkin and a walk around, we never went to the main hotel building. The pool is located there and there is a small bar.
