"While I can understand other comments about the state of the property, and it could use cleaning and updates in some areas, it really was a great place to stay. The staff were attentive, kind and went out of their way. We stayed in a walled garden room. It was beautiful and the bathroom was huge. All of the food we had was wonderful. Would love to stay again."

"This hotel, though small, holds a rustic grandeur that encourages a long happy stay. Though my own stay was short (only 2 nights), I was able to explore the lucious ground and glenway trail that is connected to the hotel. As well as the friendly and helpful staff. The bar and restaurant were superb. Accommodations were alightly dated but held a rustic charm."

"Only stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Arrived around 8pm & left again around 7am the following morning. Didn’t stay for breakfast. All the staff I encountered were very friendly & helpful. Room was spotless & more than adequate for my stay. Lots of tea bags & milk so big plus for me. "
